Omega Sector Deparments

Operations Division: DivOps

DivOps is the portion of Omega Sector that act as the hands and arms of the organization. It is broken down further into 9 departments. Control is the mission overseers, while Departments 0 through 6 and the Basement are the actual field operatives. Each department maintains all their own intelligence networks, though Control has carte blanche to inquire from any departmental intelligence database.

Departments generally recruit like-minded individuals that fit their departmental missions. The also maintain their own training facilities under the direction of DivPers. To train any of their operatives, they must submit paperwork to DivPers before putting that operative through training. This ensures that DivPers can keep abreast of an operatives status for future missions as well as goal-setting and meeting performance incentives.

Though operation teams are diverse in departmental representation, each department does its best to keep intelligence sources secret from other departments. They also recommend that all intelligence is offered only on an need to know basis and the bare minimum given. This ensures each department’s intelligence database is valuable to control and that there is little replication of information in the departmental databases.

Personnel Division: DivPers

DivPers is in charge of maintaining the manpower of Omega Sector. They have only three departments, though they wield a far greater internal power than DivOps. Medical and Psychology have veto power over specific operatives from embarking on a mission, all the way up to moments before they leave. Training can only suggest operatives not go because of training deficiencies, but Control will give their suggestions a great deal of weight.

Training maintains many facilities around the nation, as well as some hazardous element sites outside of US territorial limits. Psych only has offices within the US, found in the same cities as its regional offices. Medical has an impressive reach, maintaining a close watch on all major hospital for field operatives checking in for treatment. Should an agent be taken to a hospital, Medical will make sure the operative is stable before arranging transportation to an Omega Sector controlled facility.

Logistics Division: DivLog

If DivPers is the body, and DivOps are the hands, then DivLog is what gets Omega Sector where it needs to go. Without the engineers and teamsters of DivLog, nothing would get done with any degree of concealment. While the org chart shows the three departments even, it is the Quartermaster who directs Research and Development what to build. Transportation is semi-autonomous, as most people affiliated with the department don’t realize that they work for Omega Sector. And Sector wants to keep it that way.

R&D is where everyone gets their super-science gadgets. They handle all the requests they get from the Quartermaster on mundane item modifications, but are primarily left to making the tools that make operations easier.
